About this event
**OFFER A ROBE & SUPPORT THE MONKS**
Dear Dhamma Friends,
The Robe Offering Ceremony (Kathina) is a joyful and sacred occasion that brings together the monastic and lay communities in harmony and gratitude for the Buddha’s timeless teachings. Celebrated at the conclusion of the Three-Month Rains Retreat (Vassa), this ceremony is regarded as one of the most meritorious deeds praised by the Buddha, symbolising generosity, unity, and deep devotion to the Dhamma.
We warmly invite you to join our annual Robe Offering Ceremony on Sunday, 2 November 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The event will be graced by Venerable K. Rathanasara and the esteemed members of the Maha Sangha.

During this auspicious ceremony, the robes offered will be sent to monks’ training centres in Sri Lanka. These robes will support the training and education of future generations of monks, helping to preserve and spread the Buddha’s teachings. The robes offered during the 2024 Kathina were respectfully distributed among 12 monks’ training centres in Wattegama, Sri Lanka. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15w961HNsL/?mibextid=wwXIfr)
