Chanting of Dharani for Pure Land Rebirth

Pure Land of Buddha, a place for the transcendental, where one can eliminate disasters, pray for blessings, and increase fortune and longevity.

This mantra means "Dharani for Uprooting All Karmic Obstacles and Attaining Rebirth in the Pure Land," also known as the Rebirth Mantra. Both the *Smaller Amitabha Sutra* and the *Amitabha Buddha's Fundamental Secret Mantra Sutra* record: "If a virtuous man or woman burns incense, kneels before a Buddha image, joins their palms, and sincerely recites this mantra, Amitabha Buddha will protect them day and night, eradicating grave sins such as the five heinous crimes, the ten evil deeds, and slander, attaining peace in this life, and being reborn in the Pure Land at the time of death." It is evident that reciting the Rebirth Mantra, whether for the living or the deceased, brings inconceivable merit!
