Organiser Description
Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple: Wat Chetawan is a Thai temple located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Built in 1957, it was officiated by Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It is notable for being the only Siamese temple in Malaysia appointed as the custodian of sacred Buddha relics—part of ancient relics discovered in Piprahwa in 1898 and gifted to King Chulalongkorn of Siam by British Viceroy Lord Curzon.
