How do we let go of our fixed ideas about ourselves and the world?
The Diamond Sūtra (金刚般若波罗蜜经) invites us to look deeply into the nature of reality and discover a wisdom that frees us from attachment, rigidity, and suffering.
In this three-month workshop, Venerable Chuan Jia will guide participants through the key teachings of this celebrated Mahāyāna scripture, helping us understand how its timeless wisdom can be applied in everyday life.
Through guided study, reflection, and discussion, participants will explore:
✨ The meaning of emptiness and non-attachment
✨ Letting go of fixed views and identities
✨ The Bodhisattva path of wisdom and compassion
✨ Applying the Diamond Sūtra in daily life
Whether you are new to the Diamond Sūtra or seeking a deeper understanding of its teachings, this workshop offers a valuable opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow in the Dharma.
To maintain a meaningful and interactive learning environment, each intake remains intentionally small. This encourages genuine sharing, thoughtful reflection, and personalised guidance throughout the sessions.

About the organiser
We are a contemporary Buddhist community committed to making the Dharma accessible in English. While many Mahāyāna teachings are traditionally shared in Mandarin, our Vihāra offers a space where practitioners can explore Buddhist wisdom in a language that speaks to them. By blending traditional teachings with modern perspectives, we aim to make Buddhist practice both accessible and relevant in today’s world.
At the heart of our community is a shared dedication to learning and practising the Dharma together. We uphold core Buddhist values such as mindfulness, ethical living, and selfless service. Through study, meditation, and compassionate action, we support one another on the path of inner transformation.
