Robe Offering Ceremony 2024
About this event
Dear Dhamma Friends,
The Robe Offering Ceremony (Kathina) is a joyous occasion where the monastic and lay Buddhist communities come together in a united congregation to appreciate each other’s dedication to the Buddha’s teachings.
It is one of the most meritorious deeds commended by the Buddha, traditionally held at the end of the Three-Month Rains Retreat (Vassa). DKBS joyfully invites you to join our annual Robe Offering Ceremony conducted by Venerable. K. Rathanasara and the Venerable Members of the Maha Sangha.
All robes offered during the ceremony will be donated to monks’ training centres in Sri Lanka, where they will be of great benefit.
To offer a robe, please submit this online form: https://bit.ly/dkbs-robe24-donate
We look forward to your participation in this meritorious event!
With Metta,
DKBS Organizing Committee
