About this program
The Dhamma Circle programme, hosted by the Buddhist Library, is an informal monthly gathering that seeks to support participants in their practice of the dhamma. A typical session includes teaching on the chosen topic, possible sharing by guest speakers and time for discussion and questions.

- 4 Jan 2025: “Is Reality Really Real?” – Reality and actuality as related to our five senses and their relationship to conceptual perceptions.
- 15 Feb 2025: “Going into Jhana” – The various stages of Jhanic absorption and implications for our life journey.
- 1 Mar 2025: “The Development of Buddha Nature”
- 5 Apr 2025: “BuddhaDhamma in Daily Life”
- 3 May 2025: “Path of Liberation – the Bojjhanga Sutta” – Using this sutta in our daily life so as to eventually liberate from suffering.
- 14 Jun 2025: “How Rebirth Takes Place” – A detailed description of the re-becoming of a human with some scientific explanation.

Established in 1983 by the Venerable Bellanwila Dhammaratana, the Singapore Buddhist Library (BL) has become a haven for those seeking to delve into the profound wisdom of Buddhism. The library's extensive collection of over 16,000 books in English and Chinese encompasses a wide spectrum of Buddhist scriptures, doctrine, philosophy, ethics, meditation, devotion, art, and architecture.
