Buddha’s Light International Association Young Adult Division

Buddha’s Light International Association Young Adult Division - Singapore Subdivision (BLIA-YAD Singapore). We mainly cater for 18 -35 Young Adults, in school or working adults are all welcome. We also have a group from 13-17( we called it the YAD Blue, basically they are youths that we train to become young Buddhist leaders)

Regular Activities

• Monthly Study groups (Usually Every 2nd sat of the month, 3pm  to 4pm - but subjected to changes based on our monthly meeting). Study grps are for the dharma. But in fgs we do abit different. Like we use ven master’s articles and do guided reading/ discussion and link it with Buddhism.But pretty much depends on the speaker of the month!
• Weekly Main Shrine Cleaning (Every Saturday, depending on availability of volunteers’ timing)
• Youth Dharma Class (for 13-16 YO, every sat 7-930pm)
• Lion Dance Trainings (Saturdays, 3-5pm)
• All other ad-hoc duties assisting temple
