This talk explores how many of the pleasures we chase in daily lifeโwhether sensory enjoyment, material gain, or emotional gratificationโoften feel โsweetโ in the moment but can lead to dissatisfaction, dependence, and suffering over time.
Drawing on core Buddhist teachings, Ven. Malpane Udithadhamma Thero examines how attachment arises, why it binds the mind, and how it subtly conditions habits of craving that are difficult to break. Through relatable examples, the audience will be guided to recognise the difference between fleeting pleasure and lasting well-being.
