Vesak Special Ep 06 – “Anussati, The Other Mindfulness” with Bhante Shravasti Dhammika | Vibe with Venerables

10 May 2025, 06:00 AM - 10 May 2025, 07:00 AM

About this event

Welcome to Episode 06 of the Vibe with Venerable series, where we talk “live” to Buddhist masters together.

Registration is required, here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/Gb83Tnz_Ssym1lr1PIn1jA#/registration

Mindfulness meditation has become extremely popular of late, to the extent of overshadowing other meditations the Buddha taught. In his talk, Bhante will explore a less well known mindfulness practice called anussati in which memory, self-examination, one’s relationships and potential are evoked to enrich one’s spiritual journey.

Bhante Dhammika written over 25 books and scores of articles on Buddhism and related subjects, and his recent book, Footprints in the Dust, has received much comment for its unique approach to the life of the Buddha.
